English as an Additional Langauge (EAL)

Support for pupils with English as an Additional Language is carefully tailored to need. Many of our EAL pupils are fully bilingual and are able to use their language skills to enhance their learning. Other pupils may need additional support from their class teacher. If your child is new or relatively new to English, small group support classes can be provided by one of our TAs who is trained in the teaching of English as an additional language.
